Jörgen Nash was
born in 1920 in Vejrum, Denmark, but is since
many years living near to Örkelljunga in
Southern Sweden were he lives with his wife Lis Zwick. Jören Nash died in 2004
84 years old.
During 1948 to1951 he was part of
the COBRA group of artists. With his brother,
Asker Jörn, he founded the Bauhaus Situationiste
Drakabygget in Southern Sweden in 1960.
He is the editor of the journal
Drakabygget, which is a journal focusing on arts
and social philosophy. He has also written 45
books on art, poetry and novels. Jörgen Nash was appointed as honorary artist at the Royal Danish Academy of
Art in 1963.
